Dr. Jessica Gotay-Lehmer is a Spanish-speaking native of Virginia. She grew up in California where she completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of California at Berkeley and later returned to the east coast for graduate school earning her master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. After working several years in research at the NIH, the University of Maryland and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, she left Maryland to obtain her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then returned and completed her pediatric residency training at The Herman and Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital of Sinai in Baltimore.
Dr. Gotay-Lehmer worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health from 2010 to 2012 then transitioned into an established private practice in Harford County where she worked from 2012 to 2014. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Dr. Gotay-Lehmer is married with two children and a Golden Retriever mix. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading and the outdoors.
